Abergele...F.O.I request Refused on Proposed New Roundabout Compulsory Purchases!

So let us be clear the council claim that as they have not made the decision which options on the leaked documents will be chosen as public consultation has not taken place, they will not give a list of the possible compulsory purchases!

Okay, that sounds slightly reasonable, but why was a Councillor reported for telling residents in Abergele a few months ago and warned after he informed them that their homes were going to be compulsorily purchased?

It was all hushed up of course, but is this fair? No, not at all, and to keep it back until after the elections was even worse. Ahhhh, our beloved Conwy Council!

The request was refused by Conwy County Borough Council.

Dyffed Rowlands 12 April 2022

Dear Conwy County Borough Council,

Please can the council give the following details?

4, Has this project been purposely held back due to the Council elections?
5, Is the Leader of the Council Charles Mccoubrey in charge of the project,or involved in any way?

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Dyffed Rowlands
