A MAN from Colwyn Bay was ordered to pay in excess of £300 after pleading guilty to committing assault.
Thomas Whiteley, 32, of Lawson Road, was accused of assaulting Daniel Arnett by beating him in Colwyn Bay on July 15, 2022.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 6.
Whiteley was ordered to pay a £120 fine, £50 in compensation, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £48 victim surcharge.
This totaled £303, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from Whiteley’s benefits.
