Llandudno...Two Seafront Hotels Go Up For Sale!


Things really do look bad for the Hotel Industry in Llandudno. The hotel above has an annual turnover of just £140,000 which is not that much when you add on repairs, etc, for such a prime spot you would expect it to be far more profitable.

I love hotels myself, and love staying in them, so it is sad to see the industry struggling, I think the government should reduce taxes on hotels and increase them Holiday on Camper Vans and Holiday Homes.

A hotel on Llandudno's famous seafront is up for sale. The 24-room Trevone has a guide price of £950,000 and an annual turnover of around £140,000. This comes as the resort bounces back positively from the pandemic.

The agent described it as ideal for a "lifestyle buyer". There is also potential to expand the operation with an increased bar and food operation.

A hotel in the "heart of Llandudno" is on the market with commercial agents saying there is strong demand for hospitality suites in the resort.

The Wilton Hotel is a Victorian Grade II Listed property overlooking the town's famous pier. It has gone on the market with owners Paul Burke and Joanne Oliver looking to step down.

Tom O’Malley, associate director – of hospitality, said: “After 18 years of ownership this comes to the market as a retirement sale."

The 14-bedroom site has a guide price of £695,000.
