Sad news indeed, regulars have now been told that the Club and Bowling Green will close on Sunday.
The Legion blames the lack of support for the venue and for Conwy County Councils approach to the planning application for houses on the part of the land which was to rejuvenate the club with funds.
Sadly it is more than likely when it goes on the market the usual property developer trash will tear everything down and slap up flats. and the allotments will be a thing of the past too.
Its very sad indeed.

ReplyDeleteIts really sad that the council kept delaying it, now when it is bought by Cartrefi, or Anwyl the council will whizz the plans through no problem
