Colwyn Bay...Four in court after BMW allegedly blocked A55 in road rage bust-up!

Temper, Temper!

Three men and a woman have been refused bail after appearing in court following an alleged road rage bust-up in which dashcam footage showed a BMW car blocking the busy A55 dual carriageway.

A district judge at Llandudno court was told by the prosecution that bottles had been thrown, and a Ford van allegedly damaged by visitors from the Manchester area when trouble erupted in North Wales on Saturday afternoon.

Businessman Najam Ali, 26, of Stockport, denied dangerous driving in the BMW at Colwyn Bay, affray and criminal damage, and having offensive weapons of bottles and a metal bar.

Said Sadat, 23, unemployed, of Oldham, entered no plea to affray, possession of an offensive weapon, and criminal damage.

Pedro Bergantim, 22, of Ashton-under-Lyne, a welder, and Demi Ward, 21, of Chorlton, also face charges. She admitted affray.

Defense solicitors Chris Dawson and Graham Parry applied for bail. But district judge Gwyn Jones remanded the four defendants in custody until they appear before Caernarfon crown court next month.
