Oh the joys of social housing, so they tear down a historic hotel and slap up a block of flats, instead of tourism we get social housing flats! Sadly Colwyn Bay will never recover as there are too many social housing flats in the town with another 51 on the way!
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with social housing, but in moderation, and not flooding an area with them. There has to be a balance!
A MAN from Colwyn Bay has been ordered to pay in excess of £1,000 after he pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to property.
Marc Birchall, 30, of Plas Dingle, was accused of causing £950 worth of damage to a silver Volkswagen Beetle belonging to Jacqueline Bodden in Colwyn Bay on March 9.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 31.
Birchall is to pay £999 in compensation, and a fine of £40.
This made a total payment of £1,039.
