Rhyl...Newly Built Market Hall Lies Derelict!

The council could not wait to tear down the old ballroom and historic Queen's Hotel to build this tin shed! The original plans showed the site surrounded by flats, but this has not happened, instead, we have an abandoned tin shed and car park that is meant to be rejuvenating Rhyl! Good luck with that!

Conwy ..Former Council Flood Defence Manager Jailed For Child Sex Offenses in 2019 Now Released!

A very odd case is, the former Conwy council flood defense manager was jailed for 11 years in 2019 after admitting the offenses. All of the local papers ignored the story and even the Daily Post stated that it only published stories that the public would be interested in, when questioned why they had not printed any of this story all the way up to Crown Court! All of the papers have printed far less severe stories on sexual offenses! But not this one. Dyfed Rowland also worked in the schools and went around giving talks on Flood Defense to the children! All records of him appear to have been moved offline! The historic Nant Y Glyn Hall is was built by Lord and Lady Roberts,and Apparently a very famous Prime Minister stayed there, but I do not have the name to hand, however delinquents have put the windows through, leaving the occupant absolutely terrified! Yet nothing has been in the news!

It would seem that the building flats brigade are out in force again! Always at the expense of the public and residents, never appropriate buildings that blend into the area! And this development was always suspect to start with, the owners wanted to return the two houses back to residential homes but the council rejected it and the housing association had already printed the plans for the site without even owning the property!

Colwyn Bay...Restoration Work Begins On Fire Ravaged Former Hotel

The tragic fire on 18th of February 2024 which destroyed the former 5-Star Hotel Ellingham House, has some good news, work has begun on its restoration, thank goodness it is not owned by a Housing association or they would be tearing it down!
