Llandudno...Gang leave man unconscious in town street attack and assault person who tried to help him!

A man was left unconscious after he was attacked by a gang who also assaulted a person trying to help him. Police have launched an appeal for information following the incident in Llandudno.

The two men were said to have been attacked by a group of people in the early hours of Sunday, August 21. North Wales Police said the incident took place near the Links Hotel on Maesdu Road in Llandudno.

A police spokesman said: "We are appealing for witnesses following an assault that took place in Llandudno. The incident in which two young men were assaulted by a group of people happened at around 4.30am on Sunday, August 21, on Maesdu Road near to the Links Hotel.

"One man was left unconscious, while it is reported the other was assaulted while trying to help the man on the floor. We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us on 101, or via the website, using reference 22000616051."
