How on earth does the above sentence make sense? So basically he got away with Burglary and carrying weapons, What a joke the Law sometimes is!
So this vile thug carried the knives for what reason? And had he not been caught who would h have USD them on?
A MAN from Abergele has received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of a sharp object in a public place and to burglary.
Cory Buckley, 20, of Llwyn Morfa, was accused of the following:
- Carrying a lock knife and a kitchen knife at Oak House, Groes Lwyd, Abergele on March 8.
- Stealing a fake gold bangle, worth between £20 and £30, in Llanddulas on March 13.
Buckley pleaded guilty to all of the above at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 14.
He was sentenced to 52 weeks’ detention in a young offenders’ institution, suspended for 12 months.
The court also ordered him to pay compensation of £350, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, making a total payment of £435.
Buckley is also to complete a maximum of 20 days of rehabilitation activity.
Both knives were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.
