A MAN from Colwyn Bay has received a conditional discharge after pleading guilty to causing criminal damage to a door.

Marc Birchall, 30, of Lawson Road, was accused of causing £104.44 worth of damage to a glass door belonging to ClwydAlyn on April 30.

He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 23.

Birchall received a 12-month conditional discharge and is to pay £104.44 in compensation.

The court also ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.

This amounted to a total payment of £189.44.
