Colwyn Bay Travelodge Stay For Just £32.00 A Night!

Yes, the Travelodge is dirt cheap but would you really want to stay here? It has a car park in the Supermarket, a roundabout right outside, a motorway and motorway junction just to the rear of it!

I also recall that the budget hotel had dreadful reviews and they were wiped clean off Tripadvisor and started again!

Here are some of the one star reviews..

Parking is nightmare specially when it rains and you have to carry luggages to get to hotel.
We back to our room late in night and there was no light and electricity.
Toilet's fan was not working.
Bed's cover was teared and not clean.
NOT value for the money we paid.
Honestly wouldn’t go near this place. We stayed as part of a group split between here and the premier inn just outside of the town and our experiences were polar opposite. This hotel offers zero food options and there is v little in the town. As we needed breakfast on a Sunday morning we were forced into buying in supplies to eat in our room, when asked the night before if they could keep our milk cold for cereal we were told no because of covid. The premier inn (Brewers Fayre) supplied us with bowls, milk, ice buckets!! To top it off the shower was like a garden sprinkler and the rooms are v v v dirty!!! Don’t have high expectations when it comes to a budget hotel but this was just awful

£760 for 6 nights and on arrival we were met by a COVID sticker saying that to “minimise contact” there would be no bed making, no bathroom cleaning and in order to get you daily allowance of 2 teabags replenished we had to specifically request it by hanging a sign on the door. Breakfast box was awful too (and £6 per person per day). Terrible!
The hotel allows the use of the shopping centre carpark, which at night turned into a meeting for young car enthusiasts revving and racing around. When that died down at approx. 22:30 the hotel staff decided to check all the rooms letting them bang shut as they went
