North Wales ...The 20 North Wales streets with the most anti-social behaviour complaints

Llandudno should be higher up the list as its crime stats are equal to Colwyn Bay.

The 20 streets with the highest number of anti-social behavior complaints have been named. Statistics from North Wales Police have revealed the North Wales streets which have had the most anti-social complaints over the past year.

Under the powers of the Freedom of Information Act, North Wales Live asked North Wales Police which streets or residential areas had the highest number of anti-social behavior complaints. Anti-social behavior can range from noisy or abusive behavior to neighborhood disturbances involving drugs or animals.

Some of the most common forms of anti-social behavior (ASB) are drunk and disorderly and criminal damage but can also apply to Covid breaches or harassment. North Wales Police's figures show that over a period of 12 months, ending in May 2022, there was a total of 1,322 anti-social behavior complaints across the top 20 addresses.

Many of the worst streets for anti-social behavior are located in busy town centers. We know that pubs and nightclubs are often the locations of alcohol-related offenses and that large groups often congregate near shopping centers and popular restaurants.

All but one of North Wales' six counties feature on the list. Anglesey is the only county that does not appear, while Conwy appears most often, home to seven out of the 20 most complained about streets.

The worst street in North Wales for anti-social behavior was Rhyl High Street, where a total of 137 complaints were made during the 12-month period. This comes after locals hit back after a Rhyl neighborhood was named 'most dangerous' in North Wales.
