Wales...Joy as 1,400 holiday cottage owners set to quit Wales!

This really is wonderful news, I hope the welsh government continues to hit second homeowners hard.

In an ideal world, second homes are not a problem, but when locals cannot afford to buy due to the mass of wealthy second homeowners there is a problem,

The Welsh Government also needs to clamp down on property developers and give councils the power to enforce all new developments of flats and houses being built are sold at affordable prices for local people only.

If this is not done this divide will only worsen.

A new OnePoll survey which found that eight out of 10 owners in Wales are considering withdrawing their lets. The research, commissioned by holiday let agency Finest Retreats, found sentiment worst among older owners: 100% of those aged 55-64 who took part in the survey said they would consider quitting.

And let us hope they do, however those who actually have a business are different, and I think they should be treated differently.
