Conwy Council Freedom Of Information Request, Rhos On Sea Paddling Pool Closure & Demolition denied!
Apparently, the plans for flats on the site appeared on one of Conwy Councils' documents, however looking at the site from this angle, you could fit quite a few flats on the site. If it was to happen I bet Cartrefi Conwy will be the front runners as always. (but apparently, it is not, see FOI reply below)
Dear Conwy County Borough Council,
On one of the council documents it states clearly the closure of the above paddling pool and the development of the land, with the paddling pool being re-located.
Please can you clarify the following
1, When is this set to happen?
2, Will the flats be social housing and which housing group will it be?
3, Where will the new pool be relocated?
4, What will the sale price of the land (old paddling pool site)?
4, What will be the cost of relocating the pool?
Yours faithfully,

The response, Estates & Asset Management is unaware of a Council document you refer to,
CCBC are investing in all of our paddling pools to offer free access toresidents and tourists over the next 5 years. We do not have any plans to
close the paddling pools at this time.
Apparently, on one of the area's future development plans, it showed the area as housing, or flats, the lady who saw it is trying to find it again.

Apparently the boat yard and all of the tree's are due to go too, Cartrefi brown nosing the council yet again
ReplyDeleteGet loads of social housing flats on that site, Rhos is full of flats so this should be fine
ReplyDeleteConwy Council have more than likely already agreed the planning for flats!
