A Llandudno pizzeria and takeaway has been handed a new food hygiene rating of zero.
Topolino’s Town Pizzeria at 155 Upper Mostyn Street, Llandudno was given a score of zero after assessment on August 3.
The takeaway has a rating of 3.0 on TripAdvisor after 191 reviews, with 80 of these reviews rating it as poor or terrible (64 of them).
The most recent review, from last month, warned people not to eat there, adding “I really should have walked out and not ordered from here, the musty smell and dark dingy decor should have given me a clue as to what the food would be like”.
The previous review, from April, told people to “avoid at all costs”, complaining about the kebab was “dog meat”, the salmon spaghetti was off, and that the eatery needed to shut down.
They described their treatment there as “vile”.
The Food Standards Agency’s report into Topolino’s rated their hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety as‘ major improvement necessary.
Topolino’s Town Pizzeria was approached for comment.
