Llanrwst...Hafodunos Hall to host Halloween events to fund repairs!

I can't wait for this. It will be lovely when the Hall is restored. A number of years ago a friend of ours took Alun Pugh there to get something done about the building that was at risk.

Alun wrote to the council, but nothing was done, it was then burnt down.

HALLOWEEN events are being held at Hafodunos Hall in Llangernyw, Conwy to raise funds for the restoration of the building.

The Gothic Revival house was built in the 1860s by Sir George Gilbert Scott, and the stately home is a Grade I-listed building, with beautiful grounds.

Following a devastating fire in 2004, the ruins are still being restored to their former glory.

The family who owns the hall is hosting events on October 29 (1pm-8pm) and 31 (1pm-4pm), with activities such as a fairy and monster trail, a treasure hunt, a pumpkin patch, and carving, fancy dress competition, a house of horrors and a tea room for children.

There will also be live music and a bar serving alcohol.
