Llandudno ...Woman taken to hospital after hit and run outside hotel

It's an odd place to be hit, as it is in an area that is very difficult to speed unless the woman just stepped out. However, nothing can justify just driving off, unless even if it was dark, or the driver did not see, but even then!

A woman was taken to hospital after a hit and run outside a Llandudno hotel. The incident happened on the evening of Thursday, December 1, outside the Manor Hotel on Craig y Don Parade.

North Wales Police are asking for witnesses, or anybody with dashcam footage, to come forward. They are particularly interested in tracing the car involved, thought to be a white Toyota Aygo or Yaris.

In a post on social media, NWP West Conwy Coastal said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Llandudno. Shortly after 8.50pm on Thursday, December 1, we received a report by the Welsh Ambulance Service of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian outside the Manor Hotel on Craig y Don Parade.

"The car, which left the scene of the incident, is described to have been a newer white Toyota Aygo or Yaris. The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, was taken to the hospital.

"Anyone who witnessed the incident, or anybody who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dash cam footage, is asked to get in touch via the website, or on 101, using reference number 22000885565."
