Rhyl...Shocking Pictures Show Scaffolding Poles Forced Through Ornate Historic Ceiling At Queens Chambers Restoration Project!

Well, Wynne Construction and Denbighshire Council are involved so it is a wonder the building is still standing!

This really is sad, this is the only original part of the Queens Hotel and Market left, the Ballroom and east wing were recently torn down with the council's blessing!

It is heartbreaking to see our heritage treated like this! It should be a crime.

A big thank you to Jenny our contact in Rhyl, and for sending us these sad pictures.

  1. The issue here is the council being involved and Wynne construction, both are corrupt, and care little about historic buildings. Denbighshire Council have ensured they destroyed the old ballroom, rather than convert it. Everyone wept when they bought is as we knew what was coming, just like Conwy Council with the Victoria Pier.

  2. Criminal. The Council has destroyed most of Rhyl, not shocked at this at all
