Prestatyn...Why Have The Seats Been Removed From Platform?

We often go by train from Llandudno to Prestatyn to visit our daughter who lives there. 

It's a nice journey, but you used to be able to sit on the seats by the main buildings now they have been moved out into the open way down the platform and some shoved under the Bridge!

I have a feeling delinquency may well be the problem, but this is not good for the elderly or people with disabilities.
