A big thank you to a kind lady who gave the brochure to a contact of ours who in turn passed it on to us. It is sad to see that a once popular place is left in such a state, although the land has apparently sold for housing some time ago.
It looked quite a nice place, shame about the gatehouse being demolished

ReplyDeleteSuch a shame, I worked there as a gardener between 2000-2001, it was a lovely place and the holiday makers always loved it there, it's a pity to see it gone.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment, yes it is such a shame, some of the challets are still standing but they have demolished the gate house.
