Civic Offices Colwyn Bay has now been sold on from hotel chain!

News has reached us that the quiet sale of the Grade II listed building is no longer a part of Park Eirias Hotels Limited, and this company had submitted planning for the conversion of the hotel and a full restoration of its internal and external features. The community where really excited about the project, however there has been no news from the new owners, so the community do not know if the hotel plan is still on the cards. It would be nice to know. Whilst the building sits empty it is at risk, it has had lead stolen off the roof and a break-in over the last few days. The police will now start to keep a close eye on the building along with locals and houses on the new estate right next to the building, The council are also going to be making sure the building is secure at all times.
