Why do these delinquents need to set things on fire, it makes no sense. I bet this will end up a block of flats now.
Three youths have been arrested in connection with a property fire in Llandudno last night (Tuesday, July 29). Three fire appliances tackled the blaze at the foot of Ty Gwyn Road, a key route up the Great Orme.
Officers say they were alerted to the incident in a “derelict building” shortly before 9pm.
A joint investigation was subsequently launched by North Wales Police (NWP) and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service into the cause of the fire.
his has led to the arrest of three youths on suspicion of arson.
A NWP spokesperson said: “Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact us.”
The scale of the damage is unknown but images show flames in upstairs rooms and thick white smoke billowing from the property.
An ambulance arrived but the fire service said nobody was injured.
Ty Gwyn Road was was closed overnight with motorists told to avoid the area.
