Empowering "ymladd saesneg* sign appears on Llandudno roundabout!

 

Its strange how when the Welsh fight against English oppression it is deemed racism, but when other groups have attacked White people, Jewish, Gay in some cases it is almost ignored. Let us not forget what the English government did to the Welsh people, in brief 

The English subjected the Welsh to centuries of oppression, including military conquest, the imposition of English law and language, the suppression of Welsh culture, the destruction of Welsh communities, economic exploitation, and the denial of self-governance. Key examples include the Acts of Union which formalized English rule and banned the Welsh language, and the brutal Welsh Not system which punished children for speaking Welsh in schools.So who can blame the Welsh for what they did, were is our 

compensation?

• Land Ownership:

  English lords were given control of Welsh land, stripping Welsh families of their property and wealth. 

  • Resource Exploitation:

    The vast coal resources of Wales were exploited by English and Scottish gentry, with profits largely sent out of the country. 

    • Disruption of Communities:

      The flooding of Capel Celyn in 1965 to supply water to Liverpool caused the destruction of a rural Welsh community. 

      • Physical Symbols of Power:

        The castles built across Wales served as a constant physical reminder of English dominance over the Welsh population. 

        • Resource Exploitation:

          The vast coal resources of Wales were exploited by English and Scottish gentry, with profits largely sent out of the country.  And so much more so if its good Enough for Black people to keep on bringing slavery up, why can't the Welsh?  And the story, A WELSH flag with an accompanying anti-English message has been daubed on a roundabout in Llandudno.

          The roundabout, pictured, near Ysgol John Bright on Maesdu Road, has been covered with the Welsh flag.

          The message on the roundabout reads 'F*** the English', with many residents also pointing out that the Welsh dragon was facing the wrong way.

          The roundabout is the same one which was painted in the English colours last week.

          North Wales Police said they were making enquiries about the English flag being painted, whilst the council has condemned the “graffiti”.

          The vandalism follows thousands of England flags and Union Jacks being displayed across the UK, with many being illegally painted in public places such as mini roundabouts.

          In many English towns, flags are being displayed both legally and illegally as part of an unofficial national campaign, but it seems there has been a Welsh response.
