A MAN from Llandudno is to be sentenced after admitting threatening another person with a meat cleaver.
Peter Pomeroy, 48, of Blaen Cwm, also pleaded guilty at Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday (March 30) to a second charge of making a threat to kill.
Both charges related to an incident on November 11, 2025, when Pomeroy made threats towards another man, Scott Mansell.
He was due to begin standing trial on Monday, having previously denied the offences, but changed his pleas to guilty before a jury was sworn.
Pomeroy will be sentenced for both matters at Caernarfon Crown Court on Friday, May 1.
The defendant is remanded in custody until then, while a pre-sentence report will be prepared on his behalf by the probation service
