SEVERAL vehicles on Llandudno's West Shore have been seized by police relating to anti-social behaviour.
Officers from the Roads Crime Unit continue to monitor the West Shore Car Park in Llandudno, in response to residents’ concerns regarding anti-social behaviour of motorists in the evenings.
North Wales Police said they had seized two vehicles and two motorcycles this week in response to anti-social behaviour incidents in the evenings.
A police spokesperson said: "On Monday evening, patrols were conducted and we are pleased to report the majority of occupants of vehicles were behaving, and efforts were made to engage and educate them in a positive way.
"However, one vehicle was issued a S.59 notice* under the Police Reform Act 2002, due to noise issues within the car park witnessed by one of our officers.
"On Tuesday evening, we received reports of a vehicle driving erratically and speeding around the car park.
"After further investigation, the vehicle involved was located within the car park and seized.
"Two motorcycles were also seized later in the evening due to their manner of riding.
"We understand that the car park is in a popular spot and that young persons will use it to socialise, however we will continue to act against any motorists committing driving offences, to ensure that residents aren’t subject to anti-social behaviour, collisions don't occur, people aren’t injured and property isn't damaged.
"Our work with local authority partners to reduce anti social behaviour which affects the quality of life for residents and visitors is ongoing."
