Maybe we expect with age to come common sense and wisdom, but it seems where this 87-year-old woman is concerned, she has neither!
I must say a very light sentence considering the usual sentencing handouts to offenders that have been given! Maybe age does have some advantages!!
A WOMAN from Rhos-on-Sea received a fine and points after pleading guilty to careless driving while in Llandudno.
Dorothy Lowe, 87, of Allanson Road, was accused of driving a Peugeot vehicle without due care and attention in the McDonald’s car park on June 4.
She pleaded guilty at Mold Magistrates’ Court on December 21.
Lowe was ordered to pay a £40 fine, £110 in costs, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totaled £184, to be paid in full by February 15, 2023.
She also received three penalty points on her driving record.
