Colwyn Bay... Conwy Council Serve Section 215 Notice For Urgent Repairs on Grade II Listed Imperial Hotel!


It is not often that we praise the council, but here at least they have done the right thing, and I hope they will follow it through.

And great to hear that it has been sold, A nice hotel would really benefit the town.

This information comes from an FOI request which they answered, see below.

Section 215 Notice requiring repairs has been served 2, What action is
currently being planned? We understand the property is currently in the
process of being sold and that completion is expected soon. Once the new
ownership is confirmed, the planning enforcement team will follow up on
all the outstanding issues with the building with the new owners.
