It was once one of the key venues in Colwyn Bay and in later years became a hang out for "goths and emos"
But The Pavilion - formerly the Royal - closed in the summer of 2022, much to the disappointment of its clientele.
It has lain empty since then - its windows covered by steel shutters.
But pub group Stonegate has announced it is to be transformed. They are now looking for a tenant to take on the site once the building is restored to its former glory.

The reopened pub will feature large TVs, air hockey, darts, shuffleboard, and table football. The function room will provide additional income stream through private hires, community gatherings, and celebrations.
